What is required of my non-profit organization?
Decorate a mannequin to represent your charity or organization! Lakeside will provide the mannequin shell and reimburse your organization up to $150 for supplies. You bring the creativity and manpower, we bring the recognition!
Volunteers are required to decorate the mannequin on November 7, 2024 between the hours of 5pm to midnight. Lakeside will provide food and goodies for your volunteers!
What is the timeline? How does it work?
The deadline to RSVP for your organization to participate is September 30, 2024. Fill out the interest form below to reserve your spot in the Gowns of Giving Holiday Showcase.
All non-profit organizations will decorate their Gowns the night of November 7th. Your volunteers can arrive as early at 5pm to begin decorating and must be completed by midnight.
A panel of judges will select the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners based on appearance, design, creativity, and craftsmanship. Shoppers will vote on their favorite gown and will award the People’s Choice Award based on the number of votes. Voting will be held from November 8 - December 11, 2024. Winners will be announced on December 12th! Each participating organization will be invited to our awards ceremony on December 12th. Food and beverages will be served.
The gowns will remain decorated until Christmas Day. Your team of volunteers can remove the decorations before or after mall hours by December 31.

What do we win?
